Hi there.

Welcome to my personal blog. I talk about life, design, music and anything that seems to grab my attention. This is the spot where my mind has a voice. This entire blog is about me, hence the name ‘Meet Halima.’ It makes up a part of my biography. I share my knowledge and life experiences when I feel like it. I can be a bit philosophical at times, and every now and then you will stumble upon some profanity. I don’t use it often. However, when I do include it in a post it’s largely because it fits perfectly like no other word, so I insert it.

My blog is for the mature crowd and I’m not talking about age. I’ve met old immature people, where a thirteen year old is actually more mature than a 32-year old. So age has proven to just be a number that really only represents the number of years you’ve been living on earth and nothing more. So as long as you are mature (regardless your age) you are welcome to read my blog. If you are immature, then please click here.

I write the way I feel like writing. Sometimes in poetic form, while other times you’ll see me use proper punctuation, grammar, spelling and format. If for any reason you feel uncomfortable by something I’ve said then you are more than free to click off my blog at anytime. Because what I have to say is what I feel and you may from time to time feel strong vibes from my pages due to how strongly I feel about something or someone. You will experience my peace and anger including all that’s in between. I do not filter anything. This is not just on this blog but who I am in person. I have become a free person and when I say free I mean it in every sense of the word. If I have something to say, I’m going to say it — no more holding my tongue. My poetic form is long. I’m not the type to write these little short poetic stanzas nor am I the type who writes short stuff. Sure I can, however, when I get to typing I let it flow and it pours out like water without a dam. I suppose if I were a slow typist I probably wouldn’t even have a blog or maybe I wouldn’t post as often. However, I’m a speed typist. Typing as fast as I think it and say it in my mind. As you can see, I am not here to satisfy anyone. No offense, but I did not create this blog for you. I created it to speak and let my thoughts out like a person would when writing in a diary. This is my personal blog. And yes if you want to know about me, then you are welcome to know because last but not least my words are to be known to whomever will listen. That right there is how and why I came up with the domain name: MeetHalima.com; the day I opened my personal journal/my diary to the world (you).
