Alright here’s the deal
that I am pretty darn cool with:
I don’t have any friends here anymore
and that’s because I’m picky

I’ve blown off people who seem cool …but mention they drink
and i don’t want to be around drinkers
i mean really what’s a social drinker?!
get real

i’ve blown off people who seem cool
but mention they do some sort of drugs

i’ve blown off people who seem cool
but mention they smoke
whether it’s weed, cigarettes or other

I’ve blown off people who seem cool
but mention they are a christian

now i won’t condemn you
if you just love drinking,
doing drugs
smoking, crime
and are a christian
but daag,
i just don’t want to be around that
unless of course
you’re a seriously open-minded christian
who doesn’t fall in the other no-no’s
most i’ve encountered aren’t open-minded
beyond the scope of their religion so…
that’s why i just don’t bother with them
deal enough with them
being part of a family full of ‘em.

i’ve even blown off people who seem cool
but mention they are married
HEY I’m single
I don’t want to be hanging around married people
let alone males that are currently in some relationship
married or not
one reason insecure women
because their man has given them reason to be
and that’s just garbage
unnecessary drama
because little do they know
i don’t want their man
but maybe they have a problem
because their man wants me
either way
that’s not MY problem
and not drama i’m going to pick up
I am who I am
so i keep my distance from that mess
married people i don’t want to be around you
not saying i won’t speak to such people
just hanging out and so on won’t happen
this applies to separated people who are still married
married is married
separated or not
so unless you are 100% single
then not interested in kickin’ it with ya.

a lot of my friends in the passed decade
have been males
by personal choice
and so i’ve blown males off that seem cool now-a-days
but mention their sexual attraction towards me
and because I show that i don’t mind their attraction
but let them know i’m not giving it up
they seem to think i want to have sex with them anyway
but dammit!
HEY I DON’T WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU!
whether i have a mutual attraction to you or not
i enjoy flirting with temptation
than engaging in it
i’m very upfront with how i am
no secrets
so to eliminate that garbage
men stay away from me
unless you are gay and only like men
then we can be cool
if you meet the other rules

i’ve blown off people who –
use the word nigga, nicca (or anything remotely close to it)
as a term of what they strangely feel is endearment
and/or as a term of hate
no matter what your race is
it’s inappropriate unless you are just ignorant
of which it means
and in that case,
I’d just call you ignorant instead

and I’ve blown off people who
who use a lot of profanity just for the heck of it
now i use profanity but it’s very minimal
and tastefully placed when used
but this whole using it as if it’s the only words
in the english language is just absurd

i’ve blown off people who –
dress like they just came off of some bet rap video
the heavy gold chains
blingin’ all over the place
gold teeth
and the works
i don’t like the image
and won’t surround myself with such
but you can do you, no problem
because some people like that image
and can relate with it
just don’t expect me to
especially when i just said i don’t like it
i like style with a balance
and in good taste
not overdoing it

i’ve blown off people who seem cool
but start showing their ghetto or racial mentality
i’m just not that type of person
and would rather not be around it
i love all races of people
you got some sort of issue with other races
then keep that drama for someone else with that same mindset

i don’t mind people having different views than myself
but there are just some views people have
that i just don’t want to be around
especially if its a heavy part of their conversation

meeting people is easy for me
most of the time they sort of just gravitate towards me
befriending people is easy for me
but very few people fit the bill
so shoo fly don’t bother me
i’ve really always been like this my entire life
and have had my share of friends
that were goody two shoes like myself
sort of
who ended up years later
falling into my list of no-no’s
as far as what I will and will not chill with
don’t mind talking with ya’ on the phone or something
but hanging out — nope
but i have made a few exceptions along the way
and well exceptions
i more than likely won’t make again

so i don’t have any friends here anymore
because yes i am extremely picky
and honestly i’m ok with it

I’m just curious, though
any other people out there like myself
who don’t drink, smoke, do drugs, do crimes,
nor a christian unless seriously open-minded
nor a male unless gay?

but still cool to kick it with?

yea i’m female but shoot
i like to play video games
and pool
are there any guys that play video games?
who don’t fall into the no-no’s on my list?
i’ve been here in austin
and where are the men that enjoy the xbox
or just playing video games
but preferably FP shooter games?

Where ya’ at?!
Do ya’ll exist?

What about any females that like it?
You too pretty to play?
Don’t play pool either?
And don’t fall in the other no-no’s on my list?

I can’t possibly be the only goody-two shoe
in the world who share the same interests
and knows how to have a good time
without relying on the drinks, drugs and the works
just to have fun

Also, I’m not a coffee drinker
never had it and have no interest to try it
so don’t go hanging out at the coffee shop
the smell of the stuff seems to bother me a great deal
I noticed that some of it tends to have a rather close smell to cigarette smoke
of which I cannot stand
other than that,
the stuff just stinks to me
and yes I’m still referring to the smell of it.
