As some of you may know, I am a musician. Initially, I’ve been using SoundClick (SC) to “store” my music while I come up with a site for it. I mean I’m still going to keep my SC page though. Just I’d like to have my own spot for it for people to come and download my music without having to join their site just to do that and so on. I don’t enjoy filling out those registration forms either. So making it simple and easily accessible. And well I set up the blog over the weekend, so it’s done. I’m pleased with the finished work. I’ve moved the ‘Song of the Day’ section part of this blog over to the new blog. Things you can expect to see on the new blog at VNRMusic.MeetHalima.com:

• Music by Halima - Music I’ve personally created where I’ve sang all vocals, rap, created the music, wrote the lyrics — the whole works. I offer free MP3 downloads for personal use only. I have gone through the whole process of getting my work copyrighted and registered in the Library of Congress (registration number found in terms of the site). Registration cost me some money, but … quite simple I must add. The music is listed with the last piece I did on the first page to the oldest song I did on the last page in that category.
• Bits of Thought - Any thoughts I have related to music.
• Favorite Tracks - My favorite songs by other artists.
• Features - Music I feel should be featured not fitting for the other cats
• Reminisce With Me - Songs by other artists that bring back memories of which I’ll talk a little about.
• Song of the Day - Songs by other artists that either are heard in my dreams while I’m sleeping that awake with me into my awaking life and/or songs that come out of the blue throughout the day. I’ll mention these and any other thoughts that go with it.

I haven’t gotten around to posting the lyrics to my songs just, yet. But eventually I will at some point. Enjoy.
