Chew the bone not the marrow
small but cap the narrow
widen it to its core
grow and expand
tunnel vision explored
lighting exposed
to wonders of earth
of God’s goodness and mirth

Aha that’s what I said
Smiling like a gap in the road that separates the cement from the tar

Earth opens its mouth to say “cheese”
Feels good it does
to release the pressure that’s been building up after all of these years

You don’t have to get to that point damaging others just to crack a smile.
