you feed an interest in me
and yet refuse to deliver it
having Ruh no longer feel
and yet you keep my burning bush well lit
alive, hot and in flames

you then bring in my world
one who resembles my desire
you flaunt Ruh in front of me
teasing
like water
when you know i’m in my desert
dry and hot as it is
or like dangling a juicy t-bone steak
in front of a starving dog
drooling at the mouth
hungry
so hungry
spirit’s growling
that’s my tummy

passing it back and forth
looking at me
glancing
passing back and forth
and yet keeps distance
feel to come closer
and doesn’t
feel the urge to advance me
and doesn’t

if you’re going to give me the interest
working up my appetite
to please and be pleased
to love and be loved
then you need to stop stalling
and deliver the goods
i await my t-bone steak
medium rare
i await watching Ruh
wondering…

when will you deliver
deliver Ruh to me
or deliver me free
Deliver one or the other
deliver
deliver
deliver at least one
i’m ready to be served my platter
i’m ready to eat
pour your juice in my glass
watch it flow through me
watch me eat of your wonder.
just i’m waiting to be fed
by whom gave me this interest
this interest in you.

surely this waiter can count its tip shot
but i’m smelling what the chef has prepared
i’m wanting it now
hurry up with all your other customers
Oh My!
you’re just a table away
hurry, waiter!
come quickly!
bring my delicious platter of food to me
i’ve been waiting for so long
so very long
i shall tip you very generously
despite the wait
stall no more
serve me
my order
my interest
you worked up in me
serve me
so I may indulge in my pleasurable buffet
and it in me
serve me
so I can eat
