You’d lay there with me in the cold
even though I know you wanted me sexually
you respected me enough to just be there for me
and held me in those cold nights.
Your body heat was just unreal
but you used it to keep me warm through the night
even allowing me to wear one of your most warmest outfits
and yes when some nights you couldn’t be there
I was truly warm in them
I know people thought we had sex
because their mind is so small and can’t comprehend
how a man can hold a woman in the night
and there just be pure innocent holding occurring
It’s so hard for them to understand
because of their stereotypical ways
Again yes I know you wanted me
but you were great enough to put that aside to be there for me
not just once but many times
and to that …
there’s not a single man I’ve met like you
who would ever do such a thing
and not letting their hormones get the best of them
considering the attraction
so I give you the utmost respect
and love you dearly for that
a rare man you are indeed
a rare man that won’t go unnoticed
