Aww. Godaddy Left Me A Message.

Isn’t that just sweet?! Thank you Jose, sexy thang you. Oops I mean John. He said John, right? Well he said my name all interesting-like! I mean is it just me or did he NOT say the ‘H’ in front of my name? Sounds like he’s got some accent when he said the end part of it. John had me feeling like I was on an airline. Wonder if he was ever a co-pilot or maybe even a flight attendant. Well I ordered like 3 domains from Godaddy and have transferred a couple of my old ones to their registrar. Costs are cheaper than Dynadot. Well with a coupon code that is. AHA! You know me: Frugal as I wanna be. Anyway, are you interested in getting a domain name registered? Don’t know how? Well it’s as simple as filling out a form to open a Yahoo email account. Yea… that simple. By the way, don’t get an email account over there go here and get one. :)

Anyway, so it’s not always simple coming up with a domain name that isn’t already bought by some bimbo! Sike. But Godaddy’s form is pretty much self-explanatory even though you have to scroll passed a bunch of mumbo jumbo just to get to the continue button. Just not very friendly to me. I think I had to get passed 2-3 pages just to get to the checkout form (am I exaggerating?). Just seems so busy. I like Dynadot’s checkout process better. Nevertheless, still a good deal with all they give you with your domain name (e.g. Personal email account, hosting with website builder, starter webpage, blog, getting started guide, domain forwarding & masking and plenty more). Even though I don’t use any of the goodies they include for free, it’s still nice to have options. :) Of course, I host my sites in a different spot than where I buy the domain name. Remember I’m frugal. I shop around; but some people like a one-stop shop and GoDaddy would fit in that category. At GoDaddy, you can purchase a domain name and their other services they offer with a credit card, gift cards or PayPal. Yes PAYPAL (an eBay company)!

Now for those that don’t have a PayPal account yet well what’s the hold up? I’ve had one since they launched. So get one already. Go here. So anytime you need to buy something online from a site that accepts PayPal or send a friend or family member some moolah, just use that instead of the expensive methods like Western Union, MoneyGram or the long way going postal. Psh. Those days are way passed over! But I won’t get all into what PayPal is on this post; in a short:

PayPal is the safer, easier way to pay and get paid online. The service allows anyone to pay in any way they prefer, including through credit cards, bank accounts, buyer credit or account balances, without sharing financial information. (copied from their about page)

Enough about PayPal. So, GoDaddy is shining and looking mighty bright, thank you very much. Register with them and get a nice courtesy message from them. Dynadot didn’t leave me a voicemail. What’s up with that?! Actually it’s really not important since a welcome email will suffice. ;) :

Go Daddy Domains - Why Pay More

Other registrars I like are Dynadot and I use Netfirms but my goodness their servers are as slow as molasses. I mean geez! I use broadband high-speed internet RoadRunner via cable and it’s still slow like it’s got all the centuries in the world to load. I feel sorry for dial-up users.Godaddy coupon codes by the way can be found here. Don’t shop without ‘em!

Do you know Melbourne tried to charge me like $25 to renew my domain name? Have they like lost their cookoos?! Did I transfer that domain to a new registrar? I sure did just as quick as they could say ‘…’ — that’s right, just that quick!

So over them, go the daddy way — GoDaddy!

I just posted this really only because I saw the feature on my voicemail where I could add the voicemail to my blog. So there it is at the top.
