I AM WHO I AM
I AM THE AM IN I
I AM WHO I AM AND I LOVE THE AM IN I

I don’t aim to be anyone …
instead I bring the ‘i’ before ‘a’
because I love being me
that is the Great I AM.

I am a person of many colors
I am a person of strengths
I am a person with weaknesses
That can sometimes have me bent

I am genuine when I speak
All of my words do have purpose
Not words gone empty
Rather words that are specifically and carefully filled

I have many talents
I have developed skills
I am a fast learner at best
and have many more things in store

I love that which is natural
I don’t do fake nails, hair, makeup nor anything else
that didn’t naturally come with me
so don’t come to me asking me where the hotspots are
for buying cosmetics, fake hair and such
because honestly I haven’t a clue that’ll help you much.

I have beauty that is free
beauty not made up
I have a voice that draws the attention to a captivating degree
Always seem to fascinate mankind
I speak to make you “think”
provoking you to dig “deep”.

I have values and views that may differ from yours
but I sure won’t go pushing my views on you
and expect the same respect
I am open-minded
I am objective
I am quite the understanding person
as I can consciously see things from a lot of different angles
calculating to see your point of view
and phrasing so you can see mine as well
before I make a final conclusion
whether we agree to disagree
or agree to agree
there will be no disagree to disagree
as in all something will be concluded

I prefer conversing with people who listen
People who are attentive
Attentive not just to any degree
But attentive to detail
Why that’s my preference?
Because that’s me
So I expect the same respect.
Otherwise clashing will be
Difference in opinions is one thing and alright
but that is entirely non-related
to the level of your attentiveness

I say things in more than one way
and a lot of times respond with a question
to determine your level of understanding
and to help you see that you have the answer
to an issue you come to me to find resolution
I analyze
I think
I know a lot of things
because I choose to
However, I choose to not know everything
Oh heaven’s no!
I’m insightful
I’m intuitive
like we all are
Just I seem to be more in touch with it than others.

Let’s see,
I process information quickly
and at times I’m like “WHAT?!”
so you’ll have to rephrase.
haha.
But most of the time I get it the first time
So be prepared for my response.
Don’t want me to respond to a particular comment you make
regarding something I’ve said,
then I recommend you keep your comments to yourself
As my words can sometimes be harsh
Yet I don’t mean them to harm you in the way it can be taken.
It’s just I have something to say to pretty much anything
once I get started
While to others I come across as being witty.

I’m helpful to those who seek my help
when they just “can’t” see the way
I enjoy people who enjoy me and show it
But have low tolerance for people who aren’t in touch with Self
where I know more about them than they do themselves
simply because they don’t listen to their inner self speak
and/or garble the language because it’s a truth they don’t wish to acknowledge
and yet it remains so

I am self-taught in a lot of things
like music, singing, drawing, design and others
and have grown over the years
being practical with it

I am not scared to be with myself
if I were I wouldn’t love being single so much
I enjoy the freedom of singleness
And have been for over 5 years now
and counting
of course, entirely by choice

Sure I’ve had a hiccup or two
falling in love with two people
one I thought the love had died and the other
still “trying” to figure that out
But them not wanting me was good in the end
a tough choice it would have been
staying single vs them
of which both I equally love (literally).
so I’ve managed to pull through
with their help unknowing to them.

I know who I am
and proud to be
but I’ll cut this short right here
to continue at another time.
